Creating a blog page within an WordPress site

  Hi there!

  I have modified (extensively) the Matala theme, and now I cannot seem to get my blog posts up onto any of the pages on the site. They do appear in the archives, but I needed several static pages (that I have managed too well to do) and they a page that would function as a blog- just like the front page of the Matala used to work.

  How can I reinstate that magic page?

  Staff changed the way things work and now on the Settings->Reading page you need to delegate one specific page for your blog posts.
