Creating a Blog2Print Book of the Blog on Friends of Seguin Island Light Station
-
This is a long question. I’m Carol. I was the caretaker of Seguin Lighthouse on Seguin Island in Maine this summer. I posted 18 entries on the blog on this website https://www.seguinisland.org. When I wrote and posted a blog and associated pictures, I logged into with my credentials (given to me by the owner Cyndy Carney of Friends of Seguin Island Light Station (FOSILS). When I would do that, I was in WordPress.
I’m trying to create a book of this blog using the Blog2Print service. However, it states I need to log in to a WordPress.com website. I think the website is hosted by someone else (the website was developed by a person who helps the FOSILS organization which is a non profit). Is there anyway I can connect it without transferring ownership just so I can print the book and undo that connection?
This shouldn’t be this hard or complex….. I’ve tried another blog to book service, and it has pulled all the entries, but I have to edit the word document, then turn it into a .pdf all while maintaining the quality of the hundreds of pictures in the blog, then go to barnes & Noble or some other service to print the book!!!!!! This is a book just for me! I don’t understand how I enter / edit in Word Press yet I can’t connect the two!
If you think you can help me, please reply here.WP.com: Unknown

Hi there, we (that is: WordPress.com) aren’t directly affiliated with Blog2Print, but it looks like they focus on sites that are connected with our infrastructure.
The site you’ve worked on uses the WordPress software, but it isn’t connected with WordPress.com at this time. The WordPress software itself originates elsewhere: WordPress.org. That means that we (that is: WordPress.com) aren’t your best point of contact for this specific issue.
I found instructions from Blog2Print which suggest that you can use the Jetpack plugin to connect your site to our infrastructure and use Blog2Print:
https://www.blog2print.com/faq/technical-issues/#q3
There’s a dedicated forum for the Jetpack plugin at the link below. Jetpack is in the same family as WordPress.com but any support is handled via Jetpack directly, not via WordPress.com:
https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpackI may suggest first reviewing the FAQ from Blog2Print, and possibly checking with them if you’d need to do anything other than install Jetpack, connect it to this WordPress.com account you’re posting from, and then proceed to getting your blog printed. I do note that they have contact information available at the bottom of the Blog2Print page(s), in case of need!
