Creating a Comment Moderation Policy

Hello.
I have recently had to institute a comment moderation policy on my blog. I do not wish for the full text to be seen on the front page of my blog, but, instead wish for visitors to be able to click on the words, “Comment Moderation Policy” and have that *link* take them to the full text. I tried using a widget, but, that puts the full text on the front of my blog where I do not wish for it to be.
Any help in getting this solved would be greatly appreciated.

I don’t know how you can compel a change in link. read on to see what I mean. You can use “the more tag” to split text content and even change the wording to what you want but the link will be to the rest of the post and not your Comment Moderation Policy”. http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/

In the text widget, you can include an excerpt of the policy if you wish, and then create a link at the bottom (a home-made read more) if you wish.
I suggest doing this in a draft post, and then when you are happy with it, switch to the HTML tab, copy the contents and then paste it into the text widget.

When I have to explain anything in full detail, I put that all in pages. It would get too long to put it all on a widget.

I got in touch with another fellow WP blogger, and he gave me the info to get my question solved: Go to Page, click on two sheets of paper icon, compose policy, save and then publish.
Per his instructions:
“add it as a PAGE not as a POST. The icon for it is not that pushpin – that is for posts – but what looks like two sheets of paper”
Voila!
It worked! Problem solved.
