Creating a “Contact us” function
-
Hi all, hope this messages reaches you in best of health :-)
I was wondering how I’d go about creating a “Contact us” function through wordpress. I know I can make a separate page for this (and I intend to) and add contact information like e-mail addresses but I’d also like to give people the opportunity to contact me via a wordpress formula- the type that contains a text box and a “press send” function.
Any help would be appreciated and thank you in advance :-)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Please either link your wordpress.COM blog to your username, as explained in the sticky, “8 Things to Know Before Posting” or always provide a link to it in your post here. Answers and results vary, depending on whether it’s a wordpress.com blog or a blog using software provided by wordpress.ORG.
Assuming you have a free wordpress.com blog:
If your blog is self-hosted, you need to ask at wordpress.org/support because I don’t think that method works on those blogs.

Hi ellaella
Thank you for your answer, it worked. I’m sorry about the missing link, I thought I included it in the drop-down thingy (don’t know what it’s called), but I guess I have some more learning to do. Anyway here’s the blog: http://islamindeks.wordpress.com
Again thank you.

This is unrelated, but are you pasting in from Word? If so, you’ll want to stop doing that; it can really mess up your blog. You might prefer Windows LiveWriter instead, and it’s free.

Hi raincoaster
Yes I am pasting from MW, but sometimes I use the function “Copy from Word” instead of just pasting it into the main text box. You’re right about it creating problems but I’ve tried with those text decoders (or whatever they’re called) and they just make life more complicated (at least for me) :S I guess that may have to do with me not being very used to them. I will try what you suggested though. Thanks for the input :)
