creating a demo site before publishing

    Hi, my company already owns a domain- but I would like to create and pay for the best business site before adding the domain. is this possible? I also put in a domain and want to change it to a temp domain until i can change it to the real domain after completely designing the site.

    Hi there,

    You can create your site at the free WordPress.com address, cineloucom.wordpress.com. That domain never expires, so you can use that until you are ready, and then connect your existing domain using the domain mapping upgrade.

    Use a Domain You Already Own (Domain Mapping)

    The free domain in your plan doesn’t expire, so you’ll still be able to use it even a day before the plan itself expires.
