Creating a directory site with hundreds of PDFs

  What is the best way to create a directory site with hundreds if not thousands of Adobe Acrobat PDF files. The site will be silo constructed and the taxonomy a bit complex. do I need to use the post or page functions or just upload them and add a search function?

  Is there a useful plugin or even theme?

  kenian.wordpress.com doesn’t exist…. Is there perhaps a different blog you are referring to?

  If by silo you mean compartmented, keeping topics separated, i would recommend topics by page. You could organize them using categories, which lend themselves nicely to category pages that can save you from having to manually index them, because the categories pages can be added to a menu.

  Make sure you are subscribed to a plan that will have sufficient storage space for your content
