Creating a directory style site

Hi. I am wanting to create a page on my wordpress site that will link to an excel sheet or something. I want to have a page that has a list of service providers that a name can be clicked on and takes you to a page of that providers’ detailed information which would be contained in the excel sheet or something. Any ideas? Can this be done with wordpress?

You could do it using Google Docs http://en.support.wordpress.com/google-docs/ but note you cannot charge for inclusion in the list; that would be paid advertising, and blogger-initiated paid ads are banned here.
