  Your domain is the name of your site for example
  wordpress.com is a domain name.

  Hi there,

  Please confirm if you are creating a new site at WordPress.com.

  If it is so, on the page that asks you to enter the domain name, you can enter any keyword and select one of the domain names that are offered for your site.

  If you wish to create a site on the free plan, you would want to select the free .wordpress.com that is offered.
