creating a home page and blog page

hello, i have recently set up a blog and wanted to see how i can have a home page swell as a blog page – the blog i have done are saved and on my home page not the blog page? help….

By default the front page of your blog displays all published posts (not pages) in reverse chronological order, with the most recently published post on top. That is for the convenience of your returning visitors, who come to read your latest post, and who are not likely to be happy with being compelled to click through the same static page with the same blah, blah, blah on it every time they visit the blog looking for the latest post.
However, if you do not want all the posts to show on the front page, then you can create a static front page called for example “Welcome” for your site and a “Blog” page for posts. To do that create two pages first http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/
After you do that you go to > Settings > Reading and make the designation change and click “save changes”.

As you are referring to a wordpress.ORG software install on paid hosting, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

I have followed directions to establish a static Home page and set up a separate Blog Page. Have followed instructions re using Site Customiser.
I want static home or landing page and all posts appearing on the Blog page. However first trial Post does not appear automatically on Blog page. Only way to find a Post is via Side Bar widget Recent Posts.
I can’t seem to resolve this. Any advice please.
