Creating a home page link on the sidebar
-
My home page is the default “Latest posts” page and I would like to keep it that way.
However, I was wondering how I can place a “Home Page” link on the sidebar so that people can navigate back to that page when they are finished viewing some of my other pages. Currently, the only they can do that is clicking on the site header (which isn’t a very obvious link).I appreciate your help. Thanks!

The easiest way to do this is with a text widget. Leave it untitled, and put this code in the main text area:
<a href="http://winluckwong.com/">Home</a>Drag it to the top of the sidebar widget stack. Of course, you can change “home” to any text you want.
HTH!

Thanks Collin! It worked perfectly…but now this leads to another question.
I’m not very adept with html coding and I was wondering if there is a code I can insert within the code provided above in order to edit the font, size, and colour of the text “Home”.
Thank you once again!

There is, but I can never remember it! How embarrassing is that! Try searching the forum for “font” and see what comes back. I know it’s been discussed fairly recently and quite extensively.
