Creating a hosted WordPress site

Hi there,
Can you tell us more about the site you want and what kind of functionalities you would like to have, then we can point you in the best direction? Please note, even the free one is also hosted as long as we are talking about WordPress.com sites.

I should also add that there is WordPress.com and then there is WordPress.org, the latter being the software that requires you to buy your own hosting and WordPress.com offers you hosting even with a free site.
You can learn more about the difference between WordPress.org and WordPress.com here: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/

Thanks so much for the reply. What I actually want is that of wordpress.org where you have to buy your own hosting.

Hello again,
Thank you for the feedback. What you need to do is choose your choice of hosting provider (Side note: Please do some research on these, there are some that are actually recommenced for WordPress) Once you pay for your hosting and domain installing the WordPress software is pretty easy and you will have the support of the hosting team if you run into a problem.

Hi @emmaumeh044 – As @therefoiam mentions, there are several hosting options out there for hosting a WordPress website.
WordPress.com is an option. And you are already experiencing some of our support by posting for help on the WordPress.com forums. :)
It’s a matter of the budget and goals you have for your site. Our hosting options are outlined here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

This is possible with any hosting option we offer. I get the feeling there is more to it than this, though. Perhaps you are wanting a custom domain for your site? Maybe a custom theme? And maybe some additional features?
If you would like our recommendation, let us know what some of your goals and needs will be and we’ll be happy to help.
