Creating a Link in a Post
-
Previously I’ve used the chain link button on a post to give a link a title but for some reason I can’t work out how to do that now. If I click on it and then paste in the link and type the title, it just doesn’t work. I’ve also tried creating a link in the link menu on the dashboard and then inserting it and that doesn’t work either. I have a post with a number of links and they just look ugly as they are so I’d like to give them a nicer appearance. Help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Well thanks but following those instructions doesn’t make the slightest bit of difference so I’ll give up and go onto fiverr and get someone to sort it out there. I am so fed up with wasting hours on – not every but most -things on these blogs.

re:doesn’t make the slightest bit of difference
What exactly happens when you follow the instructions?
Is it possible that you are running an outdated browser version? if so go to http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.
Or is it possible you have been using an IE browser in compatibility mode? To disable see http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html -
