Creating a log-in
-
Is there anyway to let users log into wordpress on my blog ? without having to go to the wordpress home page ? or perhaps atleast creating a button or a new page that leads directly to the log in screen ?
thank you in advance

you can put the meta widget on your sidebar. it will have a login link, in which your readers can use their username to log in.

Plugins cannot be used at wordpress.com.@tu17
If you do not wish to use the meta widget then you could create a text widget, title it login or something and then put the link to your login link (http://yourblogname.wordpress.com/wp-admin) to it. If you do not know how to write links, here is a great explanation: http://faq.wordpress.com/2007/07/01/how-to-write-links/ -
(1) The title of this thread is “creating a log-in”. And sulz has told you how to do that using the meta widget. -> Presentation -> Widgets
drag the meta widget out of the “Available Widgets” box and drop it into the “sidebar” box in the position you want it to be in. Then click “Save changes”.(2) {nod to thesacredpath} http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/12/24/using-the-text-widget/
