Creating a Message Board-type page
-
Hello. I would like to create a page for my blog that is basically a message board, so that others cold leave stories and comments and even ideally instigate their own topics (without, of course, having access to other pages on my site). Is it possible to set something like this up on my blog via WordPress.com?
Thanks for any info!
John
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What you are actually describing is a Wiki and not a blog.
1. You can register another wordpress.com blog and use the P2 Twitter-like message board theme. Then you can create a custom menu on your main blog and include a custom link to the P2 blog in that custom menu.
2. Alternatively you can register a Wiki or a forum on the internet, create a custom menu on your main blog and include a custom link to the wiki or forum in that custom menu.
In either case the particpants will have to become official users of the blog and get WordPress.com username accounts.
