Creating a new Audio player plugin?

    Hello,

    I run Simplecast (https://simplecast.fm), a podcast hosting provider. Our customers can’t use our media player because wordpress.com doesn’t support iframes. How would we be able to create a wordpress.com supported audio player ala. Soundcloud, and have our customers use a shortcode to generate our player?
