  Hi,

  I am in the process of creating a new website for kids/teens and I need some assistance in putting the website together. i have never done thia before and am eager and willing to learn.

  You’ll need to decide whether you want a free domain (ends in example.wordpress.com) or a paid domain name (example.com).

  Once you’ve got a site with a domain, you’re ready to customize it. Go to My Site –> Themes and browse the themes. You can preview any theme, which is helpful for deciding which you’d like to apply to your website.

  By default, your site will display blog posts on its front page. If you want it to look more like a “traditional” site, you’ll need to set a static front page.
