Creating a new website using my current domain

    I have a domain name that is live. It is Be-ergonomic.com. I have WordPress via Ionos. I want to create a new website using the Be-erogonomic.com domain but do not want to overwrite the content until the new website is complete.

    I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

    If you want to build your new site here at WordPress.com, you can get your site set up here before switching your domain over!

    When you sign up for a new site, we give you a free subdomain (*.wordpress.com) that you can use to start building your new site.

    Here’s a guide that will help you migrate your site to WordPress.com:

    Note that you will need a paid plan when you want to connect your domain to the site, or, if you want to set up plugins on your new site you would need to upgrade to Pro right away, but you can wait on setting the domain until you’re ready.
