Creating a page from categories

  How can I create a page or link on the navigation bar so that when it is clicked on the nav bar all the posts in a particular category are displayed. Currently cahnging the link of a page to http://www.x.wordpress.com/categories/pix for example does not work because the system does not accept two “/” i.e it rejects the /pix and and the link becomes http://www.x.wordpress.com/categories which is an invalid page

  Can we have a link to your blog please, beginning with http:// ? Without it we can’t examine the problem further and only make educated guesses.
