Creating a page from categories
-
How can I create a page or link on the navigation bar so that when it is clicked on the nav bar all the posts in a particular category are displayed? Currently cahnging the link of a page to http://www.x.wordpress.com/categories/pix for example does not work because the system does not accept two “/” i.e it rejects the /pix and and the link becomes http://www.x.wordpress.com/categories which is an invalid page

Please only post once.
The Navbar won’t allow you to link directly to a category page as far as I can recall, probably for exactly the reason you’re having the problem. You can put a text widget at the top of the sidebar with links to your category pages, though, or make static pages that CONTAIN a link to the category pages, and those will show up in the navbar.

It’s been asked for a number of times, but I don’t know if there are any plans to implement it. It’s dead easy to do on an independent blog.
