Creating a "page" that is neither a "post" nor a "subpage"

    Hi everyone,

I’m a newbie here and I don’t exactly know how to name the thing I’m aiming at.

Let’s say that I’m writing a post about myself. I’m putting there a piece of information about my 20 fave albums of all time and I would like to link the line “20 albums of all time” to a separate page within WordPress.

The simplest way to do so is to create a page or a post and leave them as drafts so that they are not published, but when I put a direct link to the draft it will show on the page.

Is there any other possibility to create such “subpages” (not child pages) and store them in WordPress but not in draft form?

I know I’m being pretty dumb here, but I hope some of you will understand what I mean.

    Best regards,
    R

Use a custom menu. Publish your (hidden) pages but don’t add them to your menu.
