Creating a page with a reCaptcha
-
Hi,
I wish to create a very simple webpage, that just has a reCaptcha, and once complete by the user then presents a link to a Telegram group. I wish to use this as a means of adding a layer of security in welcoming users to a Telegram group, so as to remove bots trying to access the group. The link to this webpage would then be shared publically on social media. So the whole idea of what I’m trying to do is just to add a reCaptcha to the Telegram group for added security, basically.
Is this possible with WordPress?
Thanks,

Hi B, reCAPTCHA isn’t built into WordPress.com. We do have built-in spam filters, though. Perhaps someone could fill out a form to request access, and the connected email can automatically respond with a link?
If that is too far from your ideal solution, I’m sure there are plugins that could work that way, or you could even write your own. You would just need our Business or eCommerce plan, as extra plugins and themes add complexity to our support and maintenance. Our service includes SSL hosting, direct WordPress support, maintenance, and security:
