creating a page without “leave a reply”

  I would like to create a page that does not have the “leave a reply” option and instead is just a blank page where I can post items onto it, similar to my home page. The site was set up by someone else who no longer works with us and left very little communication on how to modify it. Equally and if possible, on this page I would also like to create sub categories that are unique to this page is this possible and if so how do I do it?
