Creating a plugin with an image that can be customised?

  I can’t really explain it in a title which is why I can’t google it either…

  I want to start with a gaming controller that customers can change the colour of and then customise other aspects of it in a similar way.

  Here is a perfect example of what I want to do:

  Is this doable in wordpress? Joomla? Is there a word for what this is?

  This forum is for WordPress.com, which is the hosted solution for people wanting a blog. WordPress.org is the site for folks who are hosting a WordPress site on their own server (as well as plugins, etc).

  I’m not personally familiar with the best way to tackle what you’re trying to do, so I don’t want to lead you astray. I’ve seen some really impressive things made with WordPress(.org), though.
