Creating a Premium Themed Site on a Free Account

    Looking to design a site with a premium theme I purchased without paying the monthly fees yet. I am doing it as an initial mock-up to see if a family member would use it for a small business they are starting. If they decide they want to use it, then they would pay the monthly fees (and get hosing + domain etc.). Is there a way to use the premium theme I used on a free site for now?

    Not here on our service: you will need our Business plan, as outside plugins and themes add complexity to our support and maintenance.

    This includes SSL, direct WordPress support, maintenance, security, and many other features that tend to cost extra with other providers.

    If you’d like to run your own copy of WordPress and use community support or hired contractors as needed, you can do that instead: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
