Creating a Private Blog

  Hi!

  I’d like to create a blog that is password protected. Most/all of the people who will be viewing it do not have a wordpress account. What’s the best way to accomplish this?

  Hi Matt,

  Your readers won’t be needing a WordPress.com account if you set all you pages and posts as password protected.

  Go on your page/post editor, and click the Visibility option on the Publish box (top right of the page).
  There will be different option to choose from: go for Password protected. Then, enter a password (you’re going to give to your readers).
  Once you’re done, click on ‘Update’ to save your edits.

  You can protect with a password every page and post of your website.
