Creating a private secure blog for students

  Hello Support,
  I am trying to create a private blog for students with learning differences for my college disability center. As a very active senior that utilizes the disability centers facilities regularly, I have always felt a little overwhelmed with all of my options and advocating for myself. I am aiming to create a mentorship program for my school using WordPress and Facebook so incoming freshmen students with learning difference can communicate with seniors that have excelled in college with similar differences; like me. If you can point me in the right direction to create something like this for my school I would greatly appreciate it.
