Creating a public blog

  I am trying to create a blog open to all users and one that is searchable by my name. I plan to use this blog to promote myself as a fiction author.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Sure thing! All blogs/sites on WordPress.com are public by default, but you can adjust visibility settings at:

  https://wordpress.com/settings/general/

  It can take a week or two for Google and others to index your site, so it may be a good time to start blogging :)
