Creating a Search Program Within Site
-
Hello,
Are you familiar with Microsoft access? I am building a site (fpesa.net), and I would like to include a database similar to that of microsoft access, except rather than having it live within the computer, I would like it to live on the site. For this site, we have the titles, authors, and descriptions of 900 scholarly articles, which I would like to make accessible to the website’s visitors. I envision visitors being able to search by entering key words and the search engine will draw from the “cards” of information we have for each of the 900 articles to pull what seems to be the most relevant to the search.Does anyone know how to embed some sort of advanced search function into a wordpress site?
P.S. I realize that this is a wordpress.com site, not a wordpress.org, but I cannot seem to locate the .org forums, so please help me on the .com server.
