Creating a second data stream?

    Hello fellow word-pressers,

I’d like to incorporate a second data stream into my site. Because what I want to cover is not the main theme of my blog, I’d like to keep it distinct from the main flow of posts. I’m thinking a box with its own posts, or even with links accompanied by a lede by me, in a static, prominent position on the page would be good. That way, visitors could follow the main blog theme without obstruction, but could attend to the ancillary theme easily if they wanted to. It’s got to be something more prominent than a fixed page that doesn’t show newly added content.

I’ve never seen this done on a WP blog, so I’m shooting in the dark here. Any thoughts?
    Thanks,
    Paul

IMHO your solution is to create a second and separate blog.

BTW you can place prominent links in each of the two blogs at the top of the sidebars in text widgets. This will enable visitors can move back and forth between them, if they wish to.

I think I need to ask this over at WP.org, because if there is a way it probably will be via a module.

Ahhh … As you did not refer to wordpress.ORG and as your username is linked to a wordpress.COM blog I did not respond from that point of view. Best wishes.
