Creating a specific hyperlink
-
My blog is cbfblog.com (cbfportal.wordpress.com) and I’d like to take (or create a blog post) that goes to the shortened url cbfblog.com/hunger
Is there a way to rename an existing post so that it goes to or redirects to cbfblog.com/hunger?
For example, I know that my “About” page is cbfblog.com/about. Is there a way to create a “page” and title it “hunger” but not make this “hunger” page visible to the public on the top bar BUT still accessible when readers go directly to cbfblog.com/hunger ?
Thank you for your help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

So, the short answer is that for a “page” you can make a premalink (URL) like cbfblog.com/hunger (as you did for your “about” page) but for a “post” you cannot.
So, you can’t make a post that automatically goes to cbfblog.com/hunger. However, you could make a page with that URL and then make a post that has a link to it.
Let me know if you have any questions.
