Creating A Static Posts Page
-
I’m trying to create a static posts page so that people can view all my posts easier than in the standard rolling defualt. I also would like to have a drop down menu with different options for types of posts. How can I do this in wordpress?
A good example would be migrationology.com/blog
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
I’m trying to create a static posts page…
The blog page on the site https://migrationology.com/ is no more static than the blog page of https://natsukashithoughts.wordpress.com/ is. When a new post is published it will replace the one presently found leftmost in the top row. So I’m not sure what you mean by a static posts page. Have you already resolved this issue?
I also would like to have a drop down menu with different options for types of posts.
See the Category Pages and Custom Menus support pages. However, whether a submenu displays as a drop-down menu will depend upon the theme applied.

It sounds like this comes down to a theme-related restriction since it looks like you already have organized your blogs to show as many as you can in one screen.
