Creating a sub-domain and Blog to add to a current website

  I want to create a blog which I will make a sub-domain and connect it to my domain/website hosted on Wix. Do I first create a blog and then turn it into a sub-domain? What ar emy steps?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
