Creating a Tab with a Dropdown That Does Not Appear on the Homepage

  Hi wordpress.com community,

  I am creating a website for my graduate program. One of the features that I was asked to implement is a page for students and alumni that will not appear on the homepage – and will feature a drop down menu of different types of resources under a tab. I was able to create a tab with the drop down; however, I don’t know how to have it not appear on the homepage. When I create a link to the student and alumni page that does not appear on the homepage, it does not let me create a drop down list on the tab on the new page.

  Any assistance on this matter is greatly appreciated.
