creating a website, domain transfer,

    I am want to create a website. I started to build on on squarespace and bought a domain name via their site. I already have a blog on wordpress (which I’d one to be one of my website pages with a tab) and a friend suggested I look into building my website on wordpress. So first of all is it a little easier to construct one on wordpress as I find squarespace not so? Secondly can I transfer my domain name, already paid for over to a wordpress website? Third someone told me that wordpress website building is the same as wix, true?
