creating a website not a blog

  I just got started with wordpress and I am having lots of trouble starting this website process. I can only
  get options to make a blog . how do I get to creating a website instead?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Welcome to WordPress! Your WordPress blog is already a website, actually. Woohoo! :)

  Going through the user’s guide over at http://learn.wordpress.com/ will be super helpful. It’s got simple, easy to understand steps to get you started, with lots of screenshots and videos.
