Creating a website without a domain name

  Hello – we are still deciding on the domain name but I want to get started on the website design. I’ve tried doing this but can’t use plugins without a business account which is more than I need. I won’t publish it without our domain which I will add in once decided. Can you help please?

  You can design your site easily without adding custom domain. As you mentioned you need custom or third party plugins for which you must be under business plan. So you can go ahead with adding business plan to your site and when you will be sure with the domain part you can use the domain credit feature under that plan to register your domain later.

  Thanks for that – I understood that the WordPress platform was free if you attach it to a domain. Will I have to pay for plugins? The main thing I need it for was to feed back any contact details to our CRM system, Zoho
