I may be creating a WordPress.com site for a group – I don’t want to create the group (its about careers) under my email; my account – how is this done – when a person somewhat familiar with a WordPress.com offers to create a WordPress site for the group under a new WordPress.com account – – what email can they use – do they have the owner of the career group create a group gmail or a yahoo email address and call that email under first and last name : CareerGroup-Owner ??? thanks

Hello! So you want each person in the group to have a certain amount of access to the site? Each person can access the site on his own (when given the proper permissions to do so) from his own login account. This is done by assigning contributors. This article shows how to add contributors and this one defines what each role is, depending on how much access you want these contributors to have.

thank you so much – I will look into your helpful links :) Basically – I need there to be an overall admin for the group that I set up the site for – I just don’t want the admin to be me
When you set up a WordPress.com site – you have to set it up under your own email/email account – I guess that means someone has to be the overall admin of the account – lets say its a Gardening site – does the overall admin have to use their personal email ? Thanks :)

Ah I see. Well you can also transfer the domain to another use. You can see how to do that on this article. Yes, it would being under your account, but you can transfer it to another person afterward.
