Creating account for existing blog
-
Originally I started the envisionairdrie blog, and was given the username envisionairdrie, associated with my personal email address. I want to share the envisionairdrie blog by adding other people as authors/editors etc, and have set up a new gmail account with the same name to handle the email for it. I changed the envisionairdrie profile email address from my personal email to the new gmail address I set up for it, then invited myself at my personal address. I set up the aaronholmes blog when I clicked on the invited link, but that blog has been associated with the envisionairdrie account instead of the aaronholmes account I would like it to be associated with.
Before I sent the invite to my personal email account, I hadn’t changed it from my personal email account in my settings, which means both blogs are associated with the envisionairdrie account. An oversight on my part, as I realize now, but there you go.
Now it tells me I can’t create an aaronholmes account – probably because I’ve already created a blog with that name.
I’d like to have the envisionairdrie blog associated with the envisionairdrie account, and the aaronholmes blog, associated with the aaronholmes account. Then I’d like to give the aaronholmes account administrator rights to the envisionairdrie account. Once I recruit multiple contributors, that will make managing content easier.
I don’t know how to set up the aaronholmes account anymore. (I couldn’t find anything relevant in the forums.)
Thoughts?Thanks.
