CREATING AN AUTHOR PROFILE

  I AM TRYING TO CREATE AN “AUTHOR PROFILE” IN A COLLEGE COURSE BLOG. I’VE GONE TO THE AUTHOR PROFILE PAGE AND I SEE THAT THERE IS A BLUE BUTTON MARKED “ACTIONS” HOWEVER I CANNOT CLICK ON IT. HOW DO I CREATE AN AUTHOR PROFILE THAT THE CLASS CAN SEE?

  Typing in all capital letters in cyberspace is a breach on online etiquette. Thanks, in advance, for turning that caps lock key off so we can read what you post and assist you without feeling like you are rudely screaming into our faces.

  You can create an About page and place your profile information on it.

  Could you please tell me how to get the blog posting toolbar to appear? I am trying to post in a blog, but my toolbar (mostly black) doesn’t have the posting toolbar shown in the “creating a post” description. Merci.

  Allow us to persuade you not to use that. It appears when you’re on your blog but the New Post button does not appear when you are in the forum.

  However…

  The Autosave doesn’t work when you use the New Post button, and many people are reporting it never posts at all. Do not use it. Always, always go to your Dashboard and click the New Post button on the Posts tab. That is the only safe way to ensure your posts work.
