Creating an image post by embedding an image
-
Hi,
gettyimages.com are offering to embed royalty-free pictures in blogs for free. But I didn’t find a way to create an “Image” post with an embedded image. I can only create a text post. But then, when I want to share the post to other social networks, the embedded image is not shown. How can I use the embedded image as an image post?Example for an embedded image:
<iframe src=”//embed.gettyimages.com/embed/149422910?et=sVijOsGFMUeC95Wx63zyiA&sig=NBMhGWwSbeb2sYS_U9yI3LMSNxPvDLDlm0EbQDwhmF8=” width=”509″ height=”406″ frameborder=”0″ scrolling=”no”></iframe>The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Please note that iframes are not allowed for security reasons. Here’s a help article which details the code that we allow:
If you can save the image, you can upload to your Media > Library page and add it to your post/page.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Hmm..
Thanks, but I can’t download the image (for free). gettyimages.com are allowing using these photos for free only in the embedded format.Isn’t there any other way?
Thanks,
Doron -
If you can’t download the images then I don’t see a great way to do it. You could always screenshot the image, and upload that (Droplr and Cloudup are great), but that really wouldn’t be ideal.
I’m sorry I couldn’t be of more help!
