Creating and UNcreating a Sticky on an existing Post

Is a Sticky roughly equivalent to a “Read-Only” file? I finally figured out how to change the font size for a post but it doesn’t work on the only Sticky I have and it has been so long since I created it I can’t recall how I created a Sticky (from and existing post) nor, if I need to, how to UN-Sticky it.

Somebody initially sent me directions on doing it using the “Publish” tool but I suspect my theme (“Bloggum”) doesn’t support that; some kind soul then sent me directions on doing it with an existing post. That worked but I lost the message (Duh!)

  • Hi there, a sticky post is just one that always remains at the top of your blog.

To un-sticky a post, just click “Edit” next to “Visibility”:

After that, uncheck “Stick this post to the front page,” click the OK button, and then click the Update button.
