Creating another blog using a deleted blog address

  I’m currently trying to create another blog; however, when I type in the name for the blog address I would like, it says it is already in use. Since I was curious about who might be using it, I typed in the address into my url, and it came up saying “[address] is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.”

  Since it looks like the website is deleted, is there a way that it will become available again where I can now use the site?

  No the deleted URL will not become available again. I’m sorry but you cannot recover or register any deleted blog URL. Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.

  You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
