creating avatar when photo does not show

  I’ve loaded a photo for an avatar a few times but it still does not show although I can find no reason why not. What should I do?

  Are you referring to your Gravatar, which is your personal avatar for when you comment on posts? Or are you referring to the favicon/Blavatar that appears next to your site title in browsers?

  Can you let me know what file type you’re uploading?

  From your explanation I would guess it is a Blavatar that I am trying to create. The link on Facebook is just black. I would like to use the same photo for Balavatar and Gravatar. Please advise how to do (in simple steps pse :-) )

  Okay, you can change your blog’s “blavatar” by going to your WordPress.com Dashboard and then your Settings -> General page. Here, you’ll see an option to upload a Blog Picture/Icon.

  Just select the photo you want to use via “Browse” and click on “Upload.”

  If you have any trouble doing this, please let us know.
