Creating catagory's under blog

  Hello, please will someone help me :)

  I’ve written my first article, a recipe to make chunky fig jam. The thing is that it doesn’t appear on my home page or blog page. How do I create a catagory (recipes) and then move this post to the catagory under blog?

  Hope this isn’t a dumb question, I’ll be subscribing to the tutorials shortly…

  Hello

  If you go here you should be able to create new category: http://thegingerandthedutchman.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=category

  When you write your first post, you can choose from and add the categories you’ve created.
