Creating drop down menus

  I have followed countless instructions but I can’t seem to add a parent menu?! Its very frustrating Please help.

  When i follow usual instructions it just adds the entire list across the top of my blog instead of as a drop down/

  What do you mean by parent menu? If it’s custom menus you’re after, then see the link provided by rootjosh above. But you can also create drop-down menus without adding custom menus by using Page Attributes.

  Start simple, with a page with no parent. Let’s call it Page A. Then make another page, Page B, be a child of the first page by assigning A as the parent in the Page Attributes module.

  Now you’ve already got two generations, and a drop-down menu with one parent and one child. What if Page B has a child? There goes the neighborhood.
