Creating multiple blogs using a single subdomain
-
We currently have blogs.bitcasa.com and would like to create a new blog (i.e. blogs.bitcasa.com/support) and potentially more in the future. From what WordPress has told me, that’s not possible and I would need to create a new subdomain (i.e. supportblog.bitcasa.com). But I would have to think that it is and I hope someone has implemented a solution to do this.
Thanks for the help!

From what WordPress has told me, that’s not possible and I would need to create a new subdomain (i.e. supportblog.bitcasa.com).
Staff have told you what our reality is and nothing posted here can change that. Mapping a subdomain with the Domain Mapping Upgrade costs $13.00 per subdomain, per blog, per year. There is no workaround.

To clarify, I’m not looking for a way around not paying for the additional subdomain. I’m simply looking for a better way to manage our blogs without having to create a subdomain for every blog.
Could I create a CNAME record that would redirect bitcasasupport.wordpress.com to blogs.bitcasa.com/support?

Until recently I’d never seen a blog here with a URL of the form whatever.whatever.com/something but apparently now it is possible, so staff will have to work with you to see if it’s possible in your case.
