creating my own shop without paypal

    Hello, I want to create my own shop for illustrations and other art works but I currently live in Istanbul, and paypal cancelled the agreement with Turkey. So I want to add payment options but unfortunately I can’t use paypal. Can you help me about that? Thank you.

    Hi there,

    If you are on our Business Plan you can set up an online shop using a plugin like WooCommerce, and there are many payment gateways available for that plugin besides PayPal that you could potentially use.

    On the other hand, if you just want to sell items via your free site, there’s not much we can do. We have instructions for adding a PayPal button, because PayPal offers a plain HTML button option that works within our code restrictions on WordPress.com. If you can find another payment service that offers a similar button, there’s no reason it should not work on your WordPress.com site as well, but I don’t know of any other options that has a button like that.

    The Simple Payments button in the Premium Plan is specifically designed to work with PayPal. We don’t have any alternatives for countries where PayPal is not supported.
