Hi, my name is Manvi.
I am trying to set up my own website on WordPress, making everything more personalized. Please let me know how can that be done? I would like to have a theme that focuses on ‘Thought Process’, ‘Empowerment’, ‘ Balancing’, ‘Innovation and Creativity’. Also, how can I have personalized domain name? If I have one, what are financial aspects involved? What is needed to be done to monthly maintain the website on WordPress?

It can provide you with guidance on
- how to choose a Theme that fits best to your idea how your site should look like,
- how to create custom site navigation so you can have a Menu where your visitors can choose from “Thought Process”, “Empowerment”, “Balancing” or “Innovation and Creativity”,
- and more customization option.
You can register a personalized domain with WordPress.com or with any other hosting provider, it is up to your preference. The expenses differ, depending on the providers. Here you can find information regarding domains: support.wordpress.com/all-about-domains
I am not sure what do you mean by “what is needed to be done monthly to maintain”. Can you please explain it further?

Thank You for guiding me.
As you mentioned, I checked out the themes that I can purchase. I liked “Blink” which is for $55. My question – Is it one time payment?
Also, since I want to make the site more for reading purposes, do you particularly suggest me a theme?
Now, coming to Domain. So far, I am registered as “https://fodderformind.wordpress.com/” this is a free plan. I want to purchase this domain to keep it just for myself. How should I do it, you might have to help a bit. There is something about “Privacy Registration”. Can you please elaborate a bit on that?
By maintenance, I meant cyber issues like hacking, checking for viruses.

I am happy to share all information I have gained about WordPress.
I just checked the Blink theme – pretty cool. (Just to be on the safe side: you know there is plenty of free themes too, right?) Blink looks like a nice one, anyway. Purchasing it to your blog should be a one time expense. If you want to use this theme on another blog too, you should buy it again though. Also, based on what I can see in the Live Demo of it, Blink seems like a theme for a blog that focuses on the words, it’s easy to read the content on it. I would not suggest any particular theme because I believe, your blog should be self-expression and choosing the theme you can identify yourself with is an important part of it. I hope it makes sense. :)
