Creating new blog – "checking" wheel spins forever

  Trying to create a new blog with a .wordpress.com domain – but the “checking” wheel just spins forever. If I hit “create blog,” while spinning I get an error message. If I leave it it just stays there spinning. It’s been the same for months. I don’t get the same problem when I select a paid domain like .me or .com.

  Same issue both in Firefox and Safari.

  Same question by three others on forum has not been answered yet.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
