Creating New Categories

  Help! I am unable to add new categories other than “uncategorized.” When I click on the Add New Categories, all I get is the “loading” on the left hand side of the box and it times out … just stays like that.

  What browser and version are you using? Also, have you tried the Cookie Dance?

  Cookie Dance: Log out, clear browser cache and cookies, restart computer.

  Both IE and Firefox. The latest versions. And yes. This has been an ongoing problem ever since the upgrade to the dashboard earlier this year. I can only get “uncategorized” as a category.

  Do you have javascript turned off in your browsers?

  I don’t know. How do I check? It’s in Firefox v. 3.0.3 … how would I go about turning it on?

  It does appear like I having Java problems. I cannot add JPEGs or anything other than YouTube videos, either. I’ve added JPEGs by creating a dummy account in Blogger, uploading them there then copying the graphic and pasting it into my posts.
